Kilowatt Classroom, LLC., is a small, owner-operated business based in Casper, Wyoming. The company was formed by Elwood Gilliland in 2002 to conduct specialized electrical and electronic training seminars for industrial electrical maintenance personnel.  He retired from the seminar business in 2008 after a electrical career that spanned fifty years. He is continuing to maintain the Kilowatt Classroom web site and to write articles for his free online publication, The Industrial Electricians Notebook^TM . Additionally, he is revising the popular Kilowatt Classroom seminar manuals for future publication and sale.

Besides enjoying writing, he is an avid carpenter and woodworker and is intensely interested in wind and solar power. He intends to devote as much time as possible to these endeavors during retirement.
