How-to-Use the on-line Shopping Cart

Click the Add to My Cart!  link located next to the price of each item. The product number, price, and various shipping options will be displayed in your shopping cart.  Click Edit to change the quantity of the item. Click Delete to remove an unwanted item.

Click View Cart to view the total number of items you have selected at any time during the shopping process, . If you wish to delete an item from your cart, Select the item, click Delete, then click OK. The unwanted item will be removed.

Easy, Three-Step Checkout - When you have completed your shopping click View Cart then click Checkout.

1.  Shipping - Enter your ship-to address and select the shipping method of your choice. Click Continue. 

2.  Payment - Enter your credit card or PayPal information and enter your billing address. Click Continue.

3.  Confirm - Review your order.  When you are satisfied with your selections and shipping method click Place Order.

After you place your order:

• You will receive an immediate confirmation e-mail upon receipt of your on-line order.

• You will receive a second e-mail when your order is shipped giving the tracking number and any other important notes.

How to Order by Phone, Fax, or Mail

In addition to our convenient on-line ordering, you can order Books and Electrical Test Equipment from Kilowatt Classroom by phone, fax, or mail.

For Phone, Fax, or Mail Orders
You will find it helpful to print our Order Form and fill it out to insure that you have all the necessary data readily available and to provide a record of your order.

For Phone Orders:

• Complete the order form to provide a record of your order and to expedite the order process.
   

• Call us at 307-265-2665 between the hours of 8 A.M - 5 P.M. (MST) Monday - Friday, and 9 A.M. - 12 Noon, Saturday to place your order.

For Fax Orders:

• Complete the form, include credit card number or purchase order information, and fax to 307-265-2665.

For Mail Orders:

• Complete the order form, make a copy for your records, and include payment in the form of a check or money order (do not send cash), credit card number, or purchase order information.

• We will provide you with a confirmation of your order including: instrument catalog number and price, shipping charges, tracking number, and expected delivery date.

• We also accept Company Purchase Orders (Net 30 Days) from established customers of Kilowatt Classroom.
   

• For payments by check, orders will be held for seven (7) days for clearance, unless the customer has an established account with Kilowatt Classroom.

Shipping of Phone, Fax or Mail Orders

• All orders will be shipped UPS Ground, unless you specify otherwise.  See Shipping Policy below.

• We will provide you with a firm cost for shipping at the time of your order.

Shipping Information

Orders Accepted Within the United States Only - No International Orders.

Additional Shipping Charges  Due to weight, books and certain other items may require an additional shipping up-charge. If required, this additional amount will be shown in the catalog and in the shopping cart description which is viewed at Checkout. The up-charge amount will be added to the selected shipping method amount.

It is difficult to estimate shipping charges for expedited shipping (Second Day and Next Day Air) and to Alaska and Hawaii. If shipping exceeds the amount shown (shipping amount plus any indicated up-charge), we will contact you by email before processing your order . You will be contacted before your payment is processed and with your approval the amount will be adjusted to reflect the actual shipping cost. (We'd rather do this than to artificially elevate all of our shipping costs to cover these circumstances.) Your final invoice will reflect the actual amount you approved.  We reserve the right to cancel orders if our shipping costs are not adequately covered. If you prefer, Contact Us in advance of your order and we can give you a firm shipping cost.

Method  Our normal shipping method is UPS Ground, allow 3 - 5 Days for delivery. UPS will not deliver to a Post Office Box; provide a street address for your ship-to-address. Your final invoice will summarize your order and include the shipping method, estimated delivery, UPS tracking number, and actual shipping and handling charges. Small books may be shipped priority mail.

Handling and Insurance  We include a $3 handling charge in our shipping rates. All orders are insured for the value of the merchandise. A signature is required for receipt of the delivery.

Damage  In the event of shipping damage - do not notify Kilowatt Classroom - notify the shipping carrier immediately.  After the shipping carrier has inspected the damage and provided a report, notify Kilowatt Classroom to order a replacement.
